I'm new to ALL of this, so I'm confused about the procedure if i don't want to flash my phone (have R4CK003). Can i active AMR without flashing? If so, what are the steps and does it take a credit to do this? I didn't think you could do anything to the phone without hitting the Flash button.
While I'm at it, i'll ask basic questions that my Searching hasn't helped out. Why are there 2 Americas FS files?! Which one do i use with my W810 if i have Cingular? Where can i find a list of improvements/changes associated with each Firmware?
I have had reception issues with my W810 since day one, and
SE says it's because the firmware for Cingular hasn't been tested yet. They say it's NOT the phone. Any takes on this? Thanks
