![]() | I seem to be having a problem with the client. I want debrand my Sony Ericsson W302 but can't seem to get the client to recognise it, I've followed all the instructions on the website but nothing is working. Also, when I close down the client I get a message saying: "Access violation at address 004F0B3D in module 'client.exe'. Read of address 03FB217C" And then sometimes I get the Windows message that client.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close too. Can anyone help? I've tried downloading the client several times but I keep getting the same thing. |

![]() | Re: Problem with client/flashing W302 Hi, I also get the same windows error message cascading down the page after I exit the client, but have just succesfully unlocked my K770i, so the error message on exit is prob not important. However, prior to finding this site, i did try downloading various other SE access tools, using same procedure ie remove battery for a few secs, re-insert, hold 'C' and connect USB and found that they didnt seem to work. HOWEVER, the instruction to remove battery for a few seconds needs in my opinion to say at least 30 secsonds, as if I leave it any less than the 30, my 770i will not connect and be recognised by either the DaVinci client ar any other SE access program. I would suggest running client.exe directly from C:\DVT to avoid any conflicts and check your Windows error log to see if there is some local issue as well. @ Iain Thanks for the tip, it is true that sometimes people are too quick in replacing the battery in these cases.

![]() | Re: Problem with client/flashing W302 I've tried leaving the battery out for more than 30 seconds but this hasn't changed anything. I've also checked the Windows error log, there is some errors: Faulting application client.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module client.exe, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000f010e. But what does this mean? I also emailed the official DaVinci Support and they asked if I had the latest Flash player installed which i wasn't sure about so I downloaded the latest version but this also hasn't changed anything. How do I run the client directly from C:\DVT ? |
