CDA Numbers ?!?

Hey!

I have a t-mobile w810i and am looking to unbrand it.

Ive downloaded
r4ck003 eu 2 & MAIN_EU-EMEA-US

hopefully these are what im supposed to have.

what I dont understand is the CDA number that the davinci client is asking for, what do I put in this box?

Enter CDA102494/15 in the CDA box.

Don't forget that you need client version 15.94 to flash your W810.

HELP!!!

Just flashed a w810i for the first time (it is from Singapore) to R4CK003.

Problem is, the language set changed from what was originally there! (Originals were English, Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese, etc.) Now it shows Turkish, Arabic, Russian, etc.!!!

I thought that using the CDA102555/101 Generic Singapore would be the right one for the same languages that came with the phone, but it would appear not! I did not realize I could check the CDA before starting the process....:-(

Does anyone know what I should do now to get the original languages back??? And, to make sure SEUS will work? I am happy to flash again, etc. to correct this (decided to flash due to dropped call issue)

Here is what I used to flash my w810i:

W810_R4CK003_MAIN_CHINA-APAC-THAI.DVT
W810_R4CK003_FS_C_ASIA.DVT
CDA102555/101

Although CDA102555/101 is the right CDA, it's only a text string that SEUS checks. It doesn't affect what language is actually in the phone when you complete the Davinci flash.

However, it those were the files used, you should get the right languages. I can't confirm what languages are in FS_C_ASIA, though, but it seems like the most logical choice.

Try updating the phone (after a complete battery charging process) on SEUS and see if it can give you the right languages. Somehow, I doubt it, but what have you got to loose?

I did try using SEUS - but you are right - no change. Is there a way to find out what the factory settings were?

Do you have any recommendations? Should I try flashing back to what I had originally? (CXC1250317 / R4CF002)

Or maybe choose different selections from what I used to get here?

The languages are still showing now as Turkish, etc...

I have no idea. The combination:

W810_R4CK003_MAIN_CHINA-APAC-THAI.DVT
W810_R4CK003_FS_C_ASIA.DVT
CDA102555/101

... should work. I don't know why you're getting the wrong languages, sorry.

CXC1250317 / R4CF002, and trying to just go through SEUS?

UPDATE: Success!!!

FYI -

Not wanting to give up, I used Total Multiserver to flash phone (previous flash was with DaVinci) using the package 2006-05-01 - W810_R4CK003_RED_CID49

This included two files:

W810_R4CK003_ZONE_3_CHINA-APAC-THAI.81S

W810_R4CK003_APAC_EN_ID_MS_TL_VI_ZS.81D

This returned me back to the original language set, as well as the correct version CXC1250317 used in SE Asia!!!

Hope this helps anyone else who may need it!

CXC1250316 is not important, as far as I know. I don't think any application cares about this string.

You might need to flash Main + FS again. Read the FAQ (linked in my signature), install the USBFlash driver and download W810 R4EA031/R4ED001 APAC firmware (I suppose you want Indonesian) in the client's flashes list and use it. Select CDA102494/100 - Generic Indonesia from the CDA list under W810. Don't forget to charge your battery first. Then flash it.

Instead of W810R4EA031/R4ED001 APAC firmware, I prefer to flash it by W810_R4CK003_MAIN_CHINA-APAC-THAI.DVT and W810_R4CK003_FS_C_ASIA.DVT with CDA102494/100. Could I do it?
Because as in my brother's W810i, it use the firmware CXC1250317, R4CK003. He bought it in Indonesia (under Guarantee of SE Indonesia), while mine was bought in Batam Island and under Guarantee of SE Malaysia.
Please advice me for the matter.

Well, I still think you should use the newest firmware. R4CK003 is only the third newest revision.

So you want the languages in C_ASIA rather than the ones in APAC? Fine, then flash this firmware. C_ASIA exists as R4EA031/R4ED001 too, btw.

Using CDA102494/100 tells SEUS (SonyEricsson Update Service) that you have a W810 and that your phone wants APAC firmware (as it has Indonesian in it). When I chose this, I was looking at the location you specified in your forum profile. However, if you want C_ASIA firmware, use "CDA102494/73 - Generic Turkey", as it's the one suitable for C_ASIA firmware on W810 phones.

Btw, the CXC numbers are irrelevant, what matters is what languages you want in your phone and that you should use the newest firmware possible to lessen the risk of bugs in the software.

I have already one account and just tried to unlock W810i using client 15.94, and i have a problem about that as prompted from my computer listed bellow. Could you help me to solve this problem? I can browse the internet as well as I can posted these message. But connection to the server is still bad. I use dial up connection with speed up to 56 Kbps. Both firewall connection and antivirus software are turned it off also.
