Flashing w810i

Hello,

Have an problem with flashing my phone because it started hanging everytime i started the phone.

First i had following settings:

MAIN: W810_R4CE012_MAIN_GENERIC_HN.DVT
FS: W810_R4CE012_FS_EU4.DVT
CDA: CDA102337/4 - EMEA4

That didnt work, got following error message:

Then i tried with this settings:

Tried it few times, useing the cable so did follow with the mobile.
So what should i do?

The first settings i used i used because i live in Sweden, and my mobile is not locked or anything like that, i bought this phone for full price.

You're trying to flash the oldes firmware in the list. R4EA031/R4ED001 is the newest one, just so you know.

And the CDA you selected is for K750 EMEA_4. For W810 EUROPE_4, use this configuration instead:

Main: W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN.DVT
FS: W810_R4ED001_FS_EUROPE_4.DVT
CDA: "CDA102555/13 - EUROPE_4 - Generic SE/FI/NO/DA/IS", which is found in the CDA list under "W810".

Also, did you properly charge your phone before starting? If not, try this:

1: Remove and reattach the battery.
2: Plug in the charger and let it charge.
(it should charge, even if the phone appears to be dead)
3: Try it again with the correct files and CDA.

Also remember to deselect "Increase SMS inbox volume" in this client version, the W810 won't support it.

PS: When i tested the cable and so on i got following results:

Edit 2: I choosed only "Main and Finalization" then it worked almoust 100%, the finalization did fail, but i guess i should only take main then flash, but it seems like this FS file is not working at all, tried it many times.

Then redownload the FS, it has worked for me on several occasions. You may also want to try client 18.3.

Then i did run this FS file and Finalization, then it go to 31% and it was on that for 14minutes, then i gave up. Gah so annoying. I tried with this Client 18.3.

Tried another time with this client, it did go slow as hell:

Hmm, maybe it's the flash chip in your phone which is damaged?

Thats an good question, gonna send the phone to Sony Ericsson directly because i had this phone exactly one year now, and OnOff refuses to send the phone becuse they just have 1 year of warantee, but after 1:th september 2005 SE got 2 years of warantee. Damn just hate it happends to me :P
