PDA Security ModPack
PDA Smartphones Security Bypassing Mod What is it? PDA internal software modification that gives you unlimited rights on your system like: -Unsigned java midlets permission change -Unsigned SIS packages installation with ANY capability including DRM and TCB -Protected\unprotected SIS packages installation w/o cert or signature. Why You need it? -To allow your favorite java applications (like Jimm or OperaMini etc.) ta access Network services and\or Lockal Filesystem without confirmation requests.   -To allow your filemanager to see all hidden files   -Write own applications witout security limitations. I just installed ModPack v2 on my m600i but I can't browse to the sys or Private folders... I've tried it in both x-plore and Swiss Mgr Pro... I can see the folders it just won't let me browse into them.
I have verified that I can run unsigned apps and the midlet security settings work great (VERY NICE!)... Its just the filesystem security that still seems locked down. Do I have to do anything special to get the unrestricted browsing? Thanks! |

Mr.D, how can I make other file manager's or other applications (not only FM's), which do not have the AllFiles capability, work like X-plore_allfiles ?

SIS is package - somthing like ZIP or RAR. 1. Unpack SIS package 2. Set capabilities for desired .exe file (using SDK tool) 3. Pack back to SIS Enjoy |

This pack seems to be very interesting... But what if you update the firmware of the phone, you loose the modded security pack? So you'd be stuck with the same version for ever?
Or am I mistaking here, or is there some other solution for this... |

I'd be interested in it but dagrim1's question remains open: What if I upgrade the firmware?
Seems to me the mod is useless then. So we have to wait until no more new firmwares are released. |
